The first Toyota Land Cruiser 2017 arrives in Vietnam

The car model is exported from the Middle East market to Vietnam, equipped with a 4.6 liter V8 engine, 304 horsepower.

Along with Camry or Highlander, Toyota Land Cruiser is a privately imported car model that, despite its high price, still attracts the attention of a segment of domestic consumers.

The new Land Cruiser in Vietnam is the GXR version slightly upgraded for 2017 with not many changes in exterior and interior design.Compared to a similar model that arrived in Vietnam in mid-2016, Toyota's large SUV has a slightly different front bumper with an extended U-shaped chrome bar.

The car comes with 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, a powerful hexagonal grille with horizontal metal bars.Land Cruiser is 5,170 mm long, 1,980 mm wide, 1,930 mm high.

The interior is similar to the previous version, including leather seats,9-inch touchscreen infotainment display in the cockpit, two 10.1-inch displays for rear passengers. The car model imported to Vietnam is equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 engine, 304 horsepower at 5,500 rpm, maximum torque of 439 Nm at 3,400 rpm. 6-speed automatic transmission, full-time 4-wheel drive.

Some safety technologies on the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser include traction control, electronic balance, rear camera, tire pressure warning, automatic headlights, hill start assist and downhill assist.

According to a 2017 Land Cruiser importer in Hanoi, the price of the imported SUV in Vietnam is about 190,000 USD. Meanwhile, the same model is currently officially distributed in the country for 3.65 billion VND, also using a 4.6 liter V8 engine.
