Distributed with 5 versions S, SV, V, VX and ZX with a very reasonable price for the lowest version, the City 2017 is making the Indian market "crazy".

Honda City 2017 was launched in the Indian market in February 2017, almost at the same time as some Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Indonesia or Malaysia. However, the key point that makes City 2017 in India remarkable is the very acceptable listed price.

Honda India offers the market 5 versions of City 2017: S, SV, V, VX and ZX. In which, the S configuration version has a starting price of only 850,000 rupees (equivalent to 300 million VND). Customers can choose the 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine, combined with a 5-speed manual transmission. These equipments contribute to creating fuel-efficient car versions, suitable for people with little money and service businesses.

However, what was even more surprising was that out of 25,000 orders over the past 3 months (a record number), 35% of customers chose the highest-end version City ZX, priced at 1.3 million rupees (460 million VND). This is the version with the most features: full LED lights, 16-inch rims, rear spoiler, high-quality leather interior, 7-inch touch screen, electric sunroof...

In addition to the diesel engine mentioned above, Honda India equips the high-end City versions with a 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine with a capacity of 120 horsepower and a CVT gearbox. This will most likely be the engine version distributed to the Vietnamese market, but it is not clear whether the amenities will be similar to the City ZX in India or will be simplified.
