Real Madrid successfully signed the most expensive Brazilian player after Neymar.

(Baonghean.vn) – Real Madrid has just acquired a 17-year-old talent from Brazil. Notably, the value of this Brazilian player is only slightly less than that of Barcelona's superstar Neymar.

After the season ends, Real Madrid will face a series of departures. These could include James Rodriguez, Bale, and Pepe. Recently, Real Madrid successfully signed 16-year-old Vinicius Junior from Flamengo. The Brazilian player and Real Madrid reached an agreement after he passed his medical examination.

Real Madrid announced that the aforementioned contract will officially take effect from the end of July 2019. The transfer fee for this deal is $50 million. This is considered a record transfer fee for a Brazilian player since the prodigy Neymar joined Barcelona in 2013 for approximately $64 million.

The announcement stated: “Real Madrid CF and Flamengo – Vinicius Junior’s current club – have reached an agreement for a transfer effective from July 2018. The player will remain at his current club until July 2019, however he could play for Real Madrid sooner if both clubs agree.”

Forward Vinicius Junior has made two appearances for Flamengo. He has scored 19 goals in 22 appearances for Brazil's U17 team.
