(Baonghean.vn) - Male student Nguyen Xuan T., a student at Hanoi University of Construction, drowned while swimming with a group of friends at a lake in Hanoi.

At around 3:00 p.m. on May 7, after returning from playing soccer, T. and a group of roommates went swimming at a lake in Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi, but got cramps and drowned right then.

At that time, 2 friends who were with T. shouted and swam out to help but could not save T.

Nguyen Xuan T. (born in 1996, from Vinh City, Nghe An). T. is currently a third-year student at the Faculty of Seaports, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. T. has also been an active member of the Nghe Tinh Association volunteer group at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering for many years.
