(Baonghean.vn)-The Government has a policy to inspect 60 projects on prime land, of which Nghe An has 12 projects. That is the information given at the Provincial Party Committee meeting on the afternoon of May 27.

At the meeting, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported on the project "Improving the efficiency of land use in Nghe An province, period 2017 - 2020". The objective of the project is to review and evaluate the situation of land management and use in the period 2011 - 2016; encourage and facilitate the application and comprehensive exploitation of all investment resources; propose solutions for effective land use and exploitation associated with sustainable development.

Commenting on this project, Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee said that it is necessary to have a synchronous planning, review the city's land, any project without capacity, behind schedule, ineffective use will be revoked. The city proposed that the province not continue to approve high-rise projects in the city, contributing to reducing traffic density in the city.

In particular, to improve land use efficiency, planning is very important, including the need to implement a synchronous vision between Vinh city, Hung Nguyen district, Nghi Loc district and Cua Lo town.

Commenting on the project content, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that in order to improve the efficiency of land use, it is necessary to socialize internal resources. In which, the trend of land accumulation is very necessary, continuing to improve the management of land accumulation to ensure the rights of the people and promote the efficiency of land use. "The important thing is to have a policy mechanism to "attract" enterprises to invest in the rural agricultural sector" - comrade Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized.

Regarding the land use of forestry farms, recently, the province has reviewed and recovered over 14,000 hectares, and localities have handed over to people for use. Implementing the Government's Project on rearranging and renovating forestry farms in 2015, the Provincial People's Committee has recovered 1,876 hectares out of the planned 10,000 hectares. The province will continue to resolutely direct the recovery of the remaining area to continue handing over to localities to hand over land for people to use.

Regarding the effective control of land use, the Government's policy is to inspect 60 projects on "golden land" nationwide. Accordingly, the Government will inspect 12 projects in Nghe An.

In particular, the Central Government's viewpoint is that for rice-growing land, it is necessary to concentrate on some areas and use new varieties with high productivity and quality to ensure food security; and convert some areas of ineffective rice-growing land to other more effective crops and uses.

For urban land, many areas have had planning, however the problem is that the value of land has not been exploited. The problem is how to promote the value of urban land. Regarding tourism land, this is a field that requires a large area. If tourism infrastructure is not built well, it will not create a tourism highlight. Tourism is an industry that will bring in a large source of revenue for the locality, so the province must do a good job of planning tourism land.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that the Provincial People's Committee complete the project content and assign departments and branches to implement it well, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
