Electric pole on fire in the middle of Vinh street

(Baonghean.vn) - At noon on May 8, an electric pole on Kim Dong Street (Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City) caught fire fiercely, causing panic and fear among the people.

The burning electric pole is located between houses 46 and 42 Kim Dong.

According to initial information, at 12:30 noon today (May 8), many people saw smoke and fire rising from this electric pole. Then there were many loud explosions, and the electric pole caught fire fiercely.

The people immediately informed the authorities. Upon receiving the news, the fire police force arrived at the scene to put out the fire. 20 minutes later, the fire was completely extinguished.

At the scene, the electric pole was charred black. The fire also burned the roof of Studio Phan Nguyen (number 46). This store is currently temporarily closed to repair the damage.

After the fire, more than a dozen houses and business kiosks on Kim Dong Street are experiencing power outages. Electricity workers have also been present to fix the problem. It is estimated that it will take about 2 days to restore power lines and systems to the people.
