(Baonghean.vn) - The fishing boat was on its way to Thoi Lach wharf (Quynh Luu) to anchor when big waves and strong winds caused the boat to tilt, causing hundreds of millions of dong in damage.
At around 4:30 p.m. on May 2, the fishing boat NA 95423 TS of fisherman Truong Van Cong, residing in village 4, Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu district, was anchoring at Lach Thoi wharf when it was suddenly hit by big waves and strong winds.

At that time, the Thoi creek was silted up with sand, making it difficult to control the ship, causing it to run aground and capsize.
All seafood on board and machinery were flooded and damaged. Estimated damage was over 200 million VND.
After the ship tilted, the crew on board called the Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station and local authorities for support and assistance.
