More than 400 kg of pork of unknown origin destroyed

(Baonghean.vn) - More than 400 kg of animal products are processed pork, ground and without documents proving origin.

On the morning of April 14, Dien Chau District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station destroyed more than 400 kg of pre-processed animal products of unknown origin.

Previously, on April 8, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station discovered car with license plate 30Z-7708, driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Su (born in 1978, residing in Ninh Binh city, Ninh Binh province) transporting 4 foam boxes. Inside were 170 kg of animal products, including processed pork, brought from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City for consumption.

Then on April 9, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station continued to discover car with license plate 74B-00159, driven by Mr. Khong Minh Hai (born in 1978, residing in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province) transporting 5 foam boxes containing 240 kg of ground animal products from Hue city to Hanoi for consumption.

All of the above animal products do not have quarantine certificates and are of unknown origin. The authorities have handed them over to the Dien Chau District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for handling according to regulations.
