Two men charged for breaking into house and beating woman

(Baonghean.vn) - Yen Thanh District Police said that they have initiated a case and prosecuted Le Van Hung (39 years old, residing in Dien Dong Commune, Dien Chau District) and Truong Dang Cong (31 years old, residing in Xuan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District) to investigate the crime of Intentional Infliction of Injury.

Hung and Cong had previously come to the house to threaten and punch Nguyen Thi Huong (44 years old, residing in Yen Thanh district), the owner of Hung Huong passenger bus, causing the victim to be hospitalized for emergency treatment. According to the results of the examination, Ms. Huong suffered an 8% disability.

It is known that Ms. Huong's family owns 4 sleeper buses running the Saigon - Nghe An route. Le Van Hung is the owner of Hung Phat bus company, which has buses running the same route.

At the end of May 2017, thinking that Ms. Huong's family car "robbed" some customers who had previously booked seats with his car, Hung was upset and called to threaten.

On the afternoon of May 30, Hung led 5 people on motorbikes and a taxi to Ms. Huong's house. There, Hung and an accomplice rushed in and slapped and punched her repeatedly. Ms. Huong ran away but was chased and beaten until she collapsed on the floor. Some of Hung's accomplices stood guard at the gate, threatening her and not allowing neighbors to intervene.

After committing the crime, the group got in the car and left. The entire incident was recorded by a surveillance camera.

The case is being investigated and expanded by Yen Thanh District Police.
