Spreading the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the Provincial Agencies
(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, war veterans are always pioneers and exemplary leaders in all movements, which is the goal set by the first Congress of the Veterans Association of Provincial Agencies.

The report presented at the congress stated that in the 2014 - 2017 term, the Association of War Veterans in the provincial CCQ bloc focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of tasks, regularly paying attention to political and ideological education, associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh; Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XI, XII), promoting the emulation movement "Exemplary veterans" and emulation movements in agencies and units.
| On June 15, the Provincial Association of War Veterans held its first Congress for the 2017-2022 term. Attending the congress were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Agency Block, representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors, and 113 delegates representing 457 members of the Association of War Veterans. |
Cadres and members must be exemplary and promote the nature and tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, have absolute trust in the Party's leadership; regularly set an example in implementing the Party's resolutions, policies, State laws, and regulations of agencies and units; actively fight against wrong perceptions and maintain internal solidarity.
In particular, the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans" has gone into depth, associated with the emulation movement of agencies and units, creating motivation in carrying out political tasks; contributing significantly to the completion of the political tasks of the Party Committee of the Bloc; for consecutive years, the Veterans Association of the Bloc has been recognized as Excellently Strong.

During the term, the Association of War Veterans of the Provincial Military Agencies had 29 comrades awarded the Second and Third Class Labor Medals; 5 comrades were awarded the title of People's Physician and Meritorious Physician; 2 comrades were awarded the title of Meritorious Artist; 51 comrades were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister and many Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee.
The Association has 4 grassroots organizations and 7 individuals awarded Certificates of Merit by the Central Association of War Veterans; 12 grassroots organizations and 17 individuals awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Association; 10 collectives and 20 individuals awarded Certificates of Merit by the Association of War Veterans of the Block.
The Association determines that the work of building the Association must go hand in hand with the implementation of political tasks, so in each task and work, the members always demonstrate a clear sense of responsibility, proactive creativity, do a good job of consulting, researching, participating in administrative reform, building new rural areas; do a good job of tax management, fighting commercial fraud, corruption, waste...
Along with that, the Association of War Veterans of the Provincial CCQ Bloc promoted the patriotic emulation movement, creative labor to successfully complete assigned tasks associated with the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans", with other campaigns launched by the above, such as: Helping disadvantaged communes in Western Nghe An to bring practical results; supporting people in areas affected by salinity and drought...

The first Congress of the Association of War Veterans of the CCQ Bloc has the theme: Promoting the traditional nature of Uncle Ho's soldiers, loyalty, solidarity, exemplary, innovation, building a strong Association organization, and excellently completing the Association's political tasks.
In the coming term, the Association of War Veterans of the Provincial Agencies Bloc sets out the following main targets, directions, tasks and solutions: Continue to encourage members to preserve and promote the traditional nature of Uncle Ho's soldiers; build a clean and strong Association of War Veterans, worthy of being a loyal, united, exemplary, innovative political force, excellently completing the political tasks of the Association, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Association of War Veterans and the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Provincial Agencies Bloc for the 2015 - 2020 term.
Actively participate in building and protecting the Party, the State, the socialist regime, protecting the people, educating the young generation on revolutionary traditions; building a clean and strong Association in terms of politics, ideology, ethics and organization; innovating the content and methods of operation; caring for the legitimate rights and interests of war veterans, determined to excellently complete tasks, contributing to building a strong Party Committee of the Provincial War Veterans' Bloc.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Civil Servants' Association highly appreciated the performance of the Provincial Civil Servants' Association.
He hoped that the Association of War Veterans of the Provincial CCQ Bloc would continue to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, always be a reliable support for Party committees at all levels and leaders of agencies and units. In the role of cadres and members in each of their working positions, they would always demonstrate exemplary character, sense of responsibility, proactive creativity, do a good job of advising, researching and proposing to Party committees and leaders of agencies and units; advise the province to issue many policies, resolutions, directives and plans for socio-economic development.
Besides, the Association needs to coordinate with the Youth Union of Provincial Agencies and the Nghe An Civil Servants' Union to participate in educating and fostering patriotic traditions for the young generation, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people of the province to build Nghe An homeland to be more and more civilized and prosperous.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association of War Veterans of the Provincial CCQ Bloc for the 2017-2022 term with 11 comrades and elected a Delegation to attend the Congress of the Association of War Veterans of Nghe An province for the 2017-2022 term.
| The Veterans Association of Provincial Agencies was established on May 7, 2014, with 31 grassroots organizations and 457 members. The Association currently has 159 comrades (accounting for 42.4%) participating in the Party Committee and leading and managing cadres, of which 21 comrades are members of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Bloc, 6 comrades are members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, 2 comrades are Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; 12 comrades participate in leadership and management positions at the provincial level and in departments, branches and unions; 121 comrades participate in the grassroots Party Committee as heads and deputy heads of departments and branches. The Association always promotes the traditional nature of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and is annually evaluated and classified as having completed well and excellently its tasks. |
