At the scene, many cars parked nearby also had their front and rear windshields smashed with bricks by strangers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, owner of car with license plate 43A 15…, said that after parking her car on the sidewalk of Nguyen Tat Thanh Street on the evening of May 20, when she opened the car door on the morning of May 21, she was shocked to see that her car's rearview mirror, front windshield, and rear window had been smashed.

The front window of the car was smashed, causing damage worth tens of millions of dong.
