(Baonghean.vn) -Unable to swim, four students in Dien Quang, Dien Chau went swimming together, and one of them drowned.

At 10:00 AM on June 18th, while swimming in the river with his friends, Tang Quoc Vuong, a 7th-grade student from Hoa Quang Secondary School in Dien Chau district, drowned.

According to the Dien Quang commune authorities, while Vuong and three friends from the same village went swimming in the Dinh River, a branch of the Bung River, Vuong was swept away by the current. Significantly, all four children who went swimming did not know how to swim.

After more than an hour of mobilizing boats and 10 divers to search the river, Vuong's body was found and handed over to his family for burial. It is known that Vuong was the son of Mr. Tang Ngoc Cu and Ms. Truong Thi Thanh from Hamlet 2, Dien Quang Commune.
