Vietnam sends condolences after devastating fire in London

A Foreign Ministry spokesman said there was no information related to Vietnamese victims in the fire in London.

On June 15, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to a reporter's question requesting an update on the situation of Vietnamese people in the UK after the fire in London, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang said that so far, there has been no information related to Vietnamese people affected by the fire in London.

“The fire in London is a regrettable and heartbreaking incident. We would like to send our deepest condolences to the British Government, the British people and the families of the victims,” said Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang.

Earlier, immediately after the Grenfell Tower fire in West London, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs directed the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK to find out whether or not Vietnamese citizens were victims of the fire in order to provide timely support./.
