A source close to Cristiano Ronaldo said the Portuguese superstar wants to leave Real Madrid (RM) because he feels "sad" and "disappointed" after being accused of tax evasion by Spanish prosecutors.

BBC news agency quoted this close source: "Ronaldo is an honest person, has a great personality and always tries to make things better. He does not understand why he is accused of tax evasion. Ronaldo is very sad, really disappointed and wants to leave Real Madrid to reduce the pressure."
On June 13, Spanish prosecutors accused Ronaldo of evading 14.7 million euros in taxes between 2011 and 2014. After the information was announced, Ronaldo's representative strongly denied it, claiming that the Portuguese star had paid all his taxes. Ronaldo himself later also spoke up to confirm that it was "fabricated information".
Ronaldo (32 years old) joined RM from Manchester United (MU) for 80 million pounds in 2009 and currently has a 4-year contract with RM. During his 8 years at Bernabeu, Ronaldo and the Royal team won the Champions League 3 times and La Liga (Spanish Championship) 2 times.
If he really leaves RM, Ronaldo's next destination could be China, Paris St-Germain or return to the Premier League in a MU shirt.
