Comprehensive inspection of border work

(Baonghean.vn) - From June 18 to 23, the Nghe An Border Guard Command established a delegation to comprehensively inspect all aspects of border work in the first 6 months of 2017 at My Ly Border Guard Station (Ky Son) and Tri Le Border Guard Station (Que Phong). Colonel Le Nhu Cuong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard was the head of the delegation.

The delegation inspected the Staff work; Party work, Political work; Reconnaissance work; Crime prevention and control work; Logistics work; Technical work; Financial work and Document, security and archive work.

In recent times, My Ly Border Post and Tri Le Border Post have done a good job in border management and protection, coordinating with localities and forces in border protection, including closely protecting border markers, promptly detecting and resolving incidents in accordance with policies and measures, effectively fighting against all types of crimes, especially drug crimes and human trafficking, maintaining border security and sovereignty, and promoting the solidarity and friendship between the two sides of the border.

In addition, the stations regularly send cadres to stay close to the area, grasp the situation, propagate and mobilize people to strictly comply with the policies, laws of the Party and the State, agreements, treaties, border regulations, build self-management groups, launch the movement "Mass participation in self-management of border markers and maintaining security and order in villages and hamlets". Help people build models of economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, launch mass movements to fight against all kinds of crimes, especially drug crimes.

Promote results and experience in performing the task of protecting border security and sovereignty. Units thoroughly and fully grasp directives and resolutions of superiors and instructions of professional agencies; closely follow the Party's guidelines and policies and local tasks, flexibly and creatively apply practical conditions to build units, and participate in local socio-economic development.

Through inspections, the departments assessed the strengths and pointed out the limitations of the units in performing their tasks, so that the units could draw lessons to successfully complete the task of protecting border security and sovereignty.
