Latest iPhone 8 images could be a nightmare for apple fans

If the latest leaked iPhone 8 photos are true, Apple could be making a big mistake.

The biggest question about the design of the new iPhone is whether it will have the Touch ID sensor on the back or will it be integrated right below the screen. Has the answer been given with the latest leaked image of the iPhone 8?

Samsung did this with the Galaxy S8, and it received a lot of complaints from users. Recent leaked images suggest that Apple has a better solution. However, we are not so sure about that now.

The latest images of the iPhone 8 appeared on Weibo, discovered by 9to5Mac, showing the front and back design of the iPhone 8 in different color versions. Most of the design lines are quite accurate to what was leaked before: vertical dual camera cluster, edge-to-edge screen.

But what's more important is the prominently placed Touch ID sensor on the back. It's exactly like the Touch ID sensor you've seen on the iPhone, but it's located right below the Apple logo.

But it’s also possible that these images are fake. It would be incredibly easy to Photoshop, given the plethora of references to how the Touch ID sensor would look on the back. However, we can’t rule out the possibility that the Touch ID sensor will be mounted on the back of the iPhone 8.

If this is indeed the case, Touch ID on the iPhone 8 is not the worst thing. This problem on the Galaxy S8 is really troublesome because the sensor is mounted right next to the camera cluster, allowing users to constantly touch and blur the lens.

In the newly leaked iPhone 8 photo, it can be seen that the Touch ID sensor is placed much lower than the camera cluster, almost in the middle of the back, while the camera cluster is located on the upper left.

We still hope these images are fake. While to know exactly what the iPhone 8 design will be, users will have to wait until September, when Apple launches the new iPhone.
