Message on combating drug abuse

This is the message at the communication program responding to "Month of action, drug prevention and control" and "National day of drug prevention and control June 26" organized by the City Youth Union on the afternoon of June 23.

The play "Best Friends" performed by students of the Social Labor Education Center conveys that the main cause of drug abuse is due to people's inadequate awareness and views on drug use, addiction, and drug rehabilitation; propaganda work has not achieved the desired results.

At the same time, the play also conveys the message that the whole people and society should join hands to eliminate drug abuse by creating a healthy and clean lifestyle, not supporting illegal drug trafficking; caring for and helping addicts, not shunning or discriminating against them.

On this occasion, Nghe An Provincial Library donated 100 books to the Social Labor Education Center to build a "Legal Bookshelf" and serve a mobile library with more than 5,000 books of various types such as psychology, literature, history, and life skills.
