Revealing the income of the Russian President and Prime Minister
According to the declaration published on the Kremlin website, the income of President Putin's press secretary is even higher than that of Mr. Putin and Prime Minister Medvedev.

Russian President Vladimir Putin's income in 2016 was about 8.858 million rubles ($156,496), while the previous year the head of Russia earned 8.891 million rubles ($157,079), Sputnik reported.
In 2014, President Putin's income reached 7.654 million rubles ($135,225). In 2015, Mr. Putin decided to cut his salary by 10%.
In 2015, President Putin declared that he owned a plot of land, a 153m2 apartment and an 18m2 garage. Among Putin's assets are the cars GAZ M-21, GAZ M-21-R, "Niva" and the car trailer "Skif".
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev earned 8.58 million rubles ($151,585) in 2016. His 2015 asset declaration shows that he owns an apartment and two cars, a GAZ-20 and a GAZ-21.
The president's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, earned 12.8 million rubles ($226,140) in 2016. Peskov owns three apartments, a parking space, two cars, a Toyota and a Land Cruiser 200.
