"My dear child!

I saw the exam results this semester, they weren't too bad but they didn't make us happy, and neither did you or your brother. But seeing how your brother protected you and praised you for getting the highest History score in the class, I was very happy because he was very smart and loved you too.

Honestly, your math score doesn't make anyone happy, but your other scores are pretty good. You need to try harder, especially in math.

Dad thinks that test scores do not reflect a person's special abilities.

Teachers who set the questions and grade the tests cannot understand you and your friends like your aunts, uncles, and especially your parents or your friends' parents.

Test scores cannot tell people how many experiences you have had, how many poor people you have traveled, known, and loved; they also cannot tell people about your joys, sorrows, and beautiful dreams, and how you are trying to gradually move towards those dreams.

Test scores can't tell people how funny you can be, how you can tease people, how you can make them laugh (and sometimes too much and make them angry).

Test scores don't tell people how well you play the piano; you can write poetry very quickly and with emotion.

In short, test scores cannot tell people that you are a good person, a person who loves people, and has many other special abilities.

So, test scores are just scores. We are proud of our scores and will always try to get high scores. But if unfortunately the scores are not as expected, always remember that we have many ways to prove ourselves. Exams are absolutely not the only way!

The letter attracted a large number of readers and received many likes and comments expressing sympathy for the father's way of sharing with his child when he did not get the best results in the final exam.

Facebook user Phung Hung expressed: Good, need to learn this method; Facebook user Tran Thi Lan also shared the same sentiment: I admire you so much, I am a teacher but I am not as profound as this; Facebook user Phuong Tran Phuong said: Oh, what a wonderful Dad, surely his daughter will always be successful and be a filial daughter.
