(Baonghean.vn) - After nearly 2 months of implementing traffic safety corridor clearance, Dien Chau has 2,900 households voluntarily dismantling structures and clearing trees that obscure visibility.

Up to now, 39/39 communes and Dien Chau town have implemented the clearance of traffic safety corridors. With many solutions to strengthen propaganda, mobilization, and signing of commitments, the whole district has 2,900 households voluntarily dismantling constructions, clearing trees, and returning traffic corridors. Including 800 tents, 1,000 billboards, umbrellas, and 1,100 trees of all kinds. Some typical communes that have done well are Dien Lam, Dien Phu, Dien Cat, Dien Phuc, Dien Binh, and the town.

Currently, the district continues to direct communes and towns to continuously inspect and remind households that have not yet dismantled to continue, and households that have dismantled are not allowed to re-encroach.

According to statistics, the whole Dien Chau district has over 4,700 cases of traffic safety corridor violations. By the end of July, the district will summarize the first phase of the campaign and continue to have solutions to make the clearance work bring positive results.
