According to the official images just released, the BMW 8-Series concept is a two-door coupe with a unique front design, with a large "kidney" grille located between two thin and slanted headlights, creating a rather fierce face. Some of the most notable details include: a low-slung windshield, large front wheel air intakes and lightweight alloy wheels with large disc brakes and prominent yellow brake calipers.
The rear of the car is not very clear, but we can see that this model has a sloping roof, a rear spoiler integrated into the car. This concept also has a unique rear bumper and what appears to be a dual exhaust system.

It is the precursor to a model that will go into actual production next year - 2018, on the one hand replacing the 6-Series Coupe and on the other hand being what BMW chairman Harald Krüger calls a "real dream car", adding "pure motoring passion" to the company's product portfolio.
BMW has teased the car, but it's expected to ride on the CLAR platform that underpins the 5- and 7-Series. Rumors are rife that it will be offered with a number of familiar engines, including a 6.6-liter V12 with 601 horsepower and 590 lb-ft (799 Nm) of torque.
Earlier this year, BMW's registrations for the names 825, 830, 835, 850, 845, 860, M8 and M850 were confirmed; therefore, a high-performance M8 version may already be in the works.
