Luxembourg Prime Minister's handsome gay partner

On the steps of the NATO summit in Brussels, Belgium, among the wives and girlfriends of the leaders, there was a handsome man. He was the gay partner of the Prime Minister of Luxembourg.

Belgian architect Gauthier Destenay, the spouse of Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, joined the group of US and French First Ladies and wives of officials from other countries on May 25, while their husbands discussed major world issues.

Dressed in a black suit and grey tie, Destenay appeared among the glamorous wives of world leaders for a photo op, then attended a special dinner for the leaders' spouses.

Luxembourg Prime Minister Bettel, 44, and architect Desteney fell in love in 2010 and married in 2015, months after Luxembourg legalized same-sex marriage.

Mr. Bettel became Luxembourg's first openly gay Prime Minister in 2013. When he ran for Prime Minister, Mr. Bettel made no secret of his homosexuality.
