Vietnam - Laos border forces conduct bilateral patrols

(Baonghean.vn) -July 3,Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station - Nghe An Border Guard and Company 221 - Military Command of Xieng Khouang Province (Laos) coordinated bilateral patrols on the border between Vietnam and Laos.

The two border patrol teams coordinated to carry out bilateral patrol procedures; inspected security and order, border signs and border markers from marker 404 to marker 405.

Through inspection, the border markers and lines were intact and in the correct positions according to the Border Demarcation Protocol signed by the two governments.

This is a joint activity between the two units to consolidate and enhance cooperation in border protection and management, building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and mutually developing border./.
