People in Hoi Son commune, Anh Son still affectionately call the skillful and gentle electronics and refrigeration repairman - Nguyen Van Minh "short Minh". Because although he is over 30 years old, his height is less than 1 meter. Minh was born into a family of 5 siblings, he is the youngest. He was born with a disability, limited height, hunchback, poor health but still eager to learn.

From kindergarten to high school, his parents and siblings always accompanied him and took him to school every day. Pitying his family's hardships, despite his poor health, after graduating from high school, Minh was determined to learn a trade to become self-reliant and independent in life. He passed the exam and studied at Vinh City Technical Electronics Vocational College.

After nearly 2 years of apprenticeship, he returned to his hometown to start a business. His family was poor, his parents were farmers, and were old and weak, so they could not help him open an electrical repair shop. Mr. Minh boldly borrowed 20 million VND from the poor household, bought vehicles and equipment for electronic repair, and opened his own repair shop right at home.

Hardworking, enthusiastic and gentle, more and more neighbors and people from inside and outside the commune come to his shop; partly to have their electronic devices repaired, partly to support and share the difficulties of the disabled electrician's family.

And happiness also smiled on the hard-working and patient repairman, when a girl in the same situation, Dang Thi Ly, fell in love and worked together to build a home. It was thought that the life of the "dwarf" Nguyen Van Minh would be less difficult when he had his own happy home. However, happiness was short-lived, when his wife gave birth twice and could not raise them because they were premature. The third time, the couple had a son who is now two years old, but because of his parents' influence, the boy is short, weak, and always sick.

Minh and his wife are in poor health, often sick, and have physical disabilities, so they face many difficulties in life; their work is not guaranteed regularly, and their income is unstable. The whole family depends on the electrical repair shop. In the past, they worked hard, saved money, and supported each other. But since having a small child, the family has encountered many difficulties.

Mr. Minh's family situation is very pitiful and needs the community's help.
