Nearly 100 types of weapons and support tools recovered

(Baonghean.vn) - Thanh Chuong District Police have just coordinated with the People's Committee of Vo Liet Commune to organize propaganda and mobilize people to hand over weapons, explosives and other supporting tools.

Here, after listening to the leaders of Thanh Chuong District Police raise the dangers and consequences of storing and using weapons, explosives and other supporting tools in daily life, many people of Vo Liet Commune voluntarily brought weapons, explosives and other supporting tools to hand over to the commune and district police.

Along with propaganda at the conference, Thanh Chuong District Police also went to each house to persuade them to hand over their weapons.

Here, Thanh Chuong District Police seized nearly 100 types of weapons, explosives and other supporting tools. Among them were 30 knives and swords of various types, 30 alcohol guns, 6 flintlock guns, 10 electric shockers and 20 batons.

It is known that in the past time, along with Thanh Son, Ngoc Lam, and Vo Liet communes, currently, the remaining 37 communes and towns in Thanh Chuong district have simultaneously launched propaganda campaigns to mobilize people to voluntarily hand over and collect explosives and other supporting tools./.
