Honda Vario - the most unique scooter in Vietnam

The modified version uses spoke wheels and rims in the style of Thai Drag racing cars, accented with colorful titanium screws.

A biker in Saigon has just completed a custom build based on the Honda Vario 2016, a scooter imported from Indonesia that costs about 70 million VND on the market.

The modified model is not a pure Drag Bike racing car but is only inspired by the design style of these models. The modified version removes both original wheels, cast rims to replace them with smaller spoke wheels, spoke rims.

The scooter has some changes such as the mudguard and front disc brake, the rear handle all have new shapes. The modified version has additional accessories, including Ohlins rear forks, transparent air filter cover, stainless steel exhaust pipe, and colorful titanium screws.

Honda Vario modified but still intactn engine, single cylinder, 150cc capacity, electronic fuel injection, liquid cooled. The vehicle reaches a capacity of 12.4 horsepower at 8,500 rpm, maximum torque of 12.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The temporary engine shutdown feature when stopping for more than 3 seconds is also available on this model.

Drag Bike is a short-track racing style, about 300-600 m, quite popular among young people in Thailand or Indonesia. The competing models often remove unnecessary details, keeping only the frame.

Drag Bike racing wheels are usually small in size, with spoked rims. The engine itself has different adjustments depending on the owner's skill and the requirements of the racing format.
