Typhoon No. 2 sweeps away nearly 1 trillion VND in Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) -As of July 21, 2017, the total damage caused by Typhoon No. 2 in Nghe An province was estimated at over 993 billion VND; of which, agricultural production accounted for nearly 574 billion VND, and infrastructure over 420 billion VND.

To quickly overcome the consequences of the storm and floods, and stabilize the lives, production, and living conditions of the people, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has submitted a document requesting the Prime Minister, the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, the Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Planning and Investment, Finance, and other relevant ministries and agencies to provide urgent support to Nghe An province totaling 264.58 billion VND (two hundred sixty-four billion five hundred eighty million dong); including 2.78 billion VND for people's livelihoods; 81.80 billion VND for restoring agricultural production (according to the policy in Decree No. 02/2017/ND-CP of the Prime Minister); 100 billion VND for repairing and restoring transportation infrastructure; and 30.0 billion VND for repairing and restoring other infrastructure...
