Military Region 4: Visiting and giving gifts to policy families in Quang Tri province

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 4, the Military Region 4 Command held an inauguration ceremony and handed over gratitude houses; visited and presented gifts to a number of policy families in Quang Tri province.

On this occasion, the Military Region 4 Command handed over 2 gratitude houses, 3 savings books, and 16 gifts to policy families in the area. They visited and presented silk shirts from the Ministry of National Defense to the following Vietnamese Heroic Mothers: Nguyen Thi Do in Hai Hoa commune (Hai Lang district); Mother Duong Thi Chut in Trung Giang commune (Gio Linh district); Mother Can Thung in A Bung commune (Dakrong district).

These are 21/51 policy families in Quang Tri province that Military Region 4 gave gifts to on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day. The total value of gifts given is over 1 billion VND.

On the same day, the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 4 also offered flowers and incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs at the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery, the Road 9 National Martyrs Cemetery, and the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Special Relic Site.

This is one of the activities of the Military Region 4 Command towards the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, promptly encouraging war invalids, families of martyrs, and people with revolutionary contributions to demonstrate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution.
