Military Region 4: Promoted 29 officers to Colonel rank

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 28, the Military Region 4 Command held a ceremony to award decisions on salary increase and promotion to the rank of Colonel to 51 officers in the entire Military Region.

Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of the Military Region; Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Region and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Military Region Command.

Among the 51 officers whose salaries and promotions to Colonel rank were signed by the Minister of National Defense this time, 22 comrades had their salaries raised to Colonel and 29 comrades were promoted from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel.

These are senior officers and leaders of agencies and units with strong political will, good moral qualities, qualifications and capacity; commanding, directing, advising, and organizing the effective implementation of military and defense tasks, building a strong and clean Party organization; and comprehensively strong agencies and units.

Speaking at the ceremony to assign tasks to comrades who received salary increases and military rank promotions, Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Military Region affirmed: This is a recognition of the dedication and growth efforts of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Military Region Command for each officer. Therefore, comrades must deeply understand their position, role, and tasks to continue to strive, contribute, and successfully carry out all assigned tasks, contributing to building a clean and strong Military Region Party Committee and a strong and comprehensive armed force of the Military Region.
