Provincial People's Council hotline received 15 voters' petitions on opening morning

(Baonghean.vn) - Through the meeting's hotline, 15 voters in the province made recommendations; some of which have been requested many times but have not been resolved.

The opening session of the 4th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2016 - 2021, on the morning of July 11 attracted the attention of voters. Through the hotline of the session, 15 voters in the province raised many recommendations related to the fields of agriculture, land, construction, health care, policies... Among them are contents that voters have proposed many times but have not been resolved.

Regarding the land and construction sector, voters of Dien Hai commune (Dien Chau) reported that the commune People's Committee built a seafood market in violation of regulations. Although the Dien Chau district People's Committee has established an inspection team to conclude that 244 million VND was lost, the organizations and individuals who violated the regulations have not been punished yet. It is recommended that the inspection conclusion of the district People's Committee be strictly implemented, which is to discipline officials and recover the loss of 244 million VND.

Voter Vo Hong Loi, Tan Trang hamlet, Nghi Duc commune (Vinh city), reported that the Chairman of Nghi Duc commune People's Committee and land officials cut 300m2His family's land was used stably before 1980 to be included in the 2014 planning. Mr. Vo Hong Loi has submitted many petitions about this issue but it has been slow to be resolved. He requested that competent authorities pay attention to promptly resolving the petitions and recommendations of the people.

Also related to land management, voters of Cong Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) reported that Cong Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, loosened management, allowing some households to dump soil on rice fields granted under Decree 64/CP of the Government, affecting the irrigation canal system of the hamlet.

Regarding the agricultural sector, voter Van Duc Loc, hamlet 3, Quynh Hoa commune (Quynh Luu), requested to completely resolve the petition of voters in hamlet 3, Quynh Hoa commune regarding the exemption of irrigation fees on state-managed canals according to the provisions of Article 5, Decree 115/2012/ND-CP. Every year, people in Quynh Hoa commune have to spend 400 million to hire regulators. This issue has been petitioned by voters many times but has not been resolved.

Regarding policies and regimes, voter Thai Van Thao, hamlet 17, Nghi Van commune (Nghi Loc district) suggested that when considering poor households as elderly people who still have children, they should encourage their children to support their parents instead of separating the parents' households to enjoy the poor household policy.

Voter Nguyen Huu Tuong, hamlet 1, Hung Xuan commune (Hung Nguyen) reported that he had served in the army from 1969 to 1974 in the southern battlefield, but has not yet received a resolution to enjoy the regime even though he submitted a dossier to receive toxic chemicals since 2012 to the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district.

Fully accepting the opinions, recommendations and reflections sent by voters to the session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Viet Duong affirmed: The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will consider, forward to competent agencies to resolve and respond to voters. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to accept, seriously resolve and respond to voters.
