Training on Party financial work in 2017

(Baonghean.vn) - At the conference, Comrade Duong Xuan Suu, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Investment Management, Central Party Office, directly disseminated some new documents on Party financial work that will come into effect in the near future.

The Provincial Party Committee Office recently collaborated with the Finance and Investment Management Department of the Central Party Office and the Information Technology Department of the Ministry of Finance to organize a training conference on Party financial management for Party Committee Offices of units receiving budget from the Provincial Party Committee and districts, cities, and towns.

Attending the conference were Ms. Phan Thi Tuyet Hanh, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Mr. Duong Xuan Suu, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Investment Management, Central Party Office; and Mr. Nguyen Vu Vinh and Mr. Nguyen Duc Thu from the Information Technology Department of the Ministry of Finance.

The conference aimed to disseminate several new documents on Party financial work; to provide training on the use of IMAS accounting software, software for tracking Party membership fee collection and payment, and software for compiling assets in the management and use of State assets by Party agencies. In addition, the conference also addressed difficulties encountered during implementation. This created favorable conditions for units to effectively prepare the Party budget plan for 2018.

In her remarks at the conference, Ms. Phan Thi Tuyet Hanh, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, requested that all participants arrive on time, be serious, and focus on absorbing the lectures effectively. She urged them to immediately discuss any unclear points with the instructors for guidance. She also requested that some newly appointed accountants, who are experiencing difficulties using the software, arrange for additional training outside of working hours. She further requested that the conference organizers and the Provincial Party Committee Guest House provide the best possible conditions to ensure the training conference is effective and of high quality.

At the conference, Comrade Duong Xuan Suu, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Investment Management, Central Party Office, directly disseminated several new documents on Party financial work that will take effect in the near future, such as: Regulations replacing Regulation No. 3115-QD/VPTW, dated August 4, 2009, of the Central Party Office on some expenditure regimes for the operation of provincial and city Party committees directly under the Central Committee; and Circular replacing Joint Circular No. 216/2004/TTLT-BTCQT-BTC, dated March 29, 2004, of the Central Finance and Administration Committee and the Ministry of Finance on guiding the implementation of the Party financial management mechanism.

Also at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Vu Vinh and Comrade Nguyen Duc Thu from the Information Technology Department of the Ministry of Finance clarified the advantages and some important features of the software, guided participants on the new features in upgrading the IMAS accounting software, and answered questions from the participating units.
