Journalist Van Hien visits the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy - the wife of martyr Le Van Luyen.

Journalist Le Van Luyen sacrificed his life nearly 47 years ago, and his grave has yet to be found. His eldest son, Le Van Son, grew up studying education and applied to teach in Quang Nam province, hoping to find his father's grave. However, he also died prematurely due to exposure to Agent Orange (dioxin). Mrs. Thuy's second son also suffers from the effects of Agent Orange and lives in the same village. Mrs. Thuy is now elderly and frail, and has been suffering from a serious illness for over a year.

Over the years, on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, VNA in Nghe An and its colleagues have visited and presented gifts, showing their care and gratitude.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, we earnestly request that agencies, organizations, businesses, philanthropists, and the Journalists' Association at all levels provide assistance to the family of martyr journalist Le Van Luyen.

All direct assistance should be sent to the address above or to the Nghe An Journalists Association - No. 3 Lenin Avenue, Vinh City, Nghe An.
