According to Knight Frank, Hong Kong office towers are the most expensive commercial real estate in the world.
According to data ofKinght Franknewly announced,The Hong Kong towers cost $8,000 per square foot, or about $86,110 per square meter. That’s about 60 percent more than similar buildings in Tokyo, Japan.
Nicholas Holt, head of research for Asia Pacific at Knight Frank, said the investment value of Asia's tallest towers varied significantly, with Hong Kong at the top and Mumbai at the bottom of the rankings.

“In Hong Kong, strong market demand and a lack of new land supply continue to push property values higher, while the structure of the office market in Mumbai has improved significantly,”Nicholas Holt said.
The demand for transactions has made Hong Kong the most expensive city in the world, far surpassing many other rivals.Real estate developer Henderson has just acquired a five-story car park in Hong Kong with plans to build a nearly $3 billion office tower, according to Knight Frank.
Meanwhile, Savills recently set a price of HK$24.5 billion (about US$3.1 billion) for the Langham Place Office Tower in Mong Kok district. The price would become a new record for an office building transaction in the city.
