Exciting activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Quy Chau District Party Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Quy Chau District Party Committee (July 5, 1947 - July 5, 2017), on the morning of July 5, the delegation of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, agencies and departments of Quy Chau District organized a flower offering ceremony, incense offering, and visiting the Heroic Martyrs at the Monument of Heroic Martyrs of the district.

In a solemn atmosphere, the district leaders offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. With deep gratitude, the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in Quy Chau district will forever remember the heroic martyrs' contributions; always consider taking care of the families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the country as the duty and responsibility of every citizen.

As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the District Party Committee, this morning a volleyball exchange took place between 6 teams with over 78 athletes from communes, towns, agencies and units in the whole district participating.

With the spirit of enthusiastic and honest competition, the players have dedicated to the audience matches of high professional quality. This is an opportunity for amateur athletes of the district to meet, exchange, share experiences, strengthen solidarity, improve physical strength, promote the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

Previously, on the evening of July 4, the district also organized a cultural exchange program and awarded prizes for the contest to learn about the history of the district Party Committee to groups and individuals.
