(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the program "Accompanying the poor in Western Nghe An",July 30th,Golden City Joint Stock Company, Nghe An Newspaper, and Vinh Transport Hospital organized free medical examinations and dispensed free medicine to war invalids, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and families of policy beneficiaries.in Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district.

In one day, a team of doctors and nurses from Vinh Transport Hospital provided consultations, examinations, ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, and vision tests for 68 people, including war invalids, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and families receiving preferential treatment in Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district.

Based on the examination results, the doctors also provided health advice, guidance on knowledge and skills for disease prevention, accident and injury prevention, personal hygiene, environmental hygiene, and proper and safe nutrition for the people; and distributed nutritional supplements worth 15 million VND.

At the free medical examination and medication distribution event, Mr. Luong Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Mon Son commune, thanked Golden City Joint Stock Company, Nghe An Newspaper, and Vinh Transport Hospital for their concern and for organizing health check-ups for war invalids, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and policy beneficiary families in the commune. He also expressed his hope that the delegation would have more meaningful and practical activities for the people in the western districts of Nghe An province in the future.
