Three suspects arrested for using weapons to rob a motorbike.

(Baonghean.vn) - After 3 days of investigation, on the afternoon of July 24, the Criminal Investigation Team of the Vinh City Police successfully cracked case 717C, arresting 3 suspects for robbery.

The arrested individuals include: Nguyen Van Huy (born in 1977, residing in Huong Khe, Ha Tinh), Nguyen Hoai Nam (born in 2000), and Nguyen Van Minh (born in 1987), all residing in Thanh Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Previously, on July 22, 2017, on the embankment of the Lam River in Ben Thuy ward (Vinh City), Huy, Nam, and Minh robbed a motorbike from Mr. Nguyen Nhan Tu Huy (born in 1996, residing in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh City).

During initial questioning, the three suspects confessed to committing four other robberies in Nam Dan district and Ha Tinh province.

Based on the suspects' confessions, the special task force seized 3 motorcycles without license plates, 7 mobile phones, 1 laptop, and 3 knives, which were the stolen items from the robberies.

The Vinh City Police are currently finalizing the case files to prosecute the suspects in accordance with regulations.
