Quynh Luu voters: Need solutions to solve the output of agricultural products

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 19, at Quynh Lam commune, Mr. Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee,Provincial People's Council delegatesand the delegates of the People's Council of Quynh Luu district had a meeting with voters of Quynh Lam and Ngoc Son communes before the 4th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, and the District People's Council, term XIX.

At the meeting, the delegates of the Provincial and District People's Councils presented reports on the agenda of the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council and the 19th District People's Council; Report on the implementation of socio-economic tasks of the province and district in the first 6 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2017; Report on the settlement of voters' petitions at the 3rd session of the 17th Provincial People's Council and the 19th District People's Council.

Voters of the two communes have proposed a number of issues such as: It is necessary to continue to strengthen administrative reform, especially in the field of land; Production of people in the highlands is facing many difficulties, requesting superiors to have appropriate support mechanisms; Support for repairing and building new houses for policy beneficiaries according to Decision 22 of the Government is too slow; Weak electricity, some seriously degraded electric poles and power lines have not been repaired, requesting early repair to ensure safety, especially during the rainy and stormy season.

Many agricultural products produced by the people are purchased by businesses, but they are still unstable. At first, the price is high, but later the price decreases. Businesses run away, people are in trouble. We request that superiors have solutions to solve the output of agricultural products. Transport vehicles drop garbage along the road, Ngoc Son landfill is not treated regularly, causing environmental pollution. We request that all levels consider not allowing private companies to auction land, which not only causes disorder and insecurity, but is also not beneficial to the people and the State.

Receiving voters' recommendations, provincial and district People's Council delegates explained some issues within their authority and some issues outside their authority. The delegates will gather to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and resolution.
