Con Cuong gives 20 cows to poor households

(Baonghean.vn) -20 local cows have just been given to 10 households in Quyet Tien village and Lien Dinh village (Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong).

Accordingly, Lien Dinh village was awarded 12 pigs, Quyet Tien village was awarded 8 pigs; each pig is worth 15 million VND.

The number of cows given this time is part of the program to help poor farmers in Con Cuong district develop their livelihoods and escape poverty from the National Target Program on New Rural Development. Before receiving the cows, the households were also trained in animal husbandry techniques and instructed on veterinary care.
