Tuong Duong Youth built 1,700 garbage treatment pits to help people

Tuong Duong is a poor mountainous district, people's lives are still difficult, awareness and consciousness of protecting the living environment of the people are still limited, the situation of littering is widespread and indiscriminate often occurs in the area... Determining that environmental protection is an extremely necessary task to protect human health, at the same time contributing to the implementation of environmental criteria in new rural construction; recently, the youth of Tuong Duong district have been organizing and implementing many practical and meaningful activities to protect the environment.

On June 10, the District Youth Union mobilized more than 80 youth union members to build 30 garbage pits for the people of Bai Xa village, Tam Quang commune. The district supported the construction of the garbage pits with money to buy construction materials, and the youth union members contributed working days.

According to the plan, from now until early August 2017, the District Youth Union will mobilize youth union members of the entire district to help the people of Tam Quang commune build 1,875 garbage treatment pits, so that this commune can reach the new rural finish line in 2017.
