The first Toyota Fortuner 2017 Middle East version arrives in Vietnam

The Fortuner version imported from the Middle East market costs more than 2 billion, with a 2.7 liter engine and 164 horsepower.

Privately imported car models use the same engine as the original.2.7V 4x4 in Vietnam, onlySmall difference in equipment. Price is about 700 million VND higher.

The exterior and interior design of the Middle East version of Fortuner is similar to the Indonesian imported version currently officially distributed in Vietnam. The car is equipped with halogen projector headlights, LED taillights, muscular front bumper fog lights, and 17-inch wheels. The highest domestic version is equipped with 18-inch wheels and LED headlights.

Interior has fabric seats, manual air conditioning, rear seat vents. Multi-function steering wheel, Bluetooth, USB, AUX connectivity.

There is no difference in engine between the Vietnam model and the Middle East version. The car is equipped with type 27-liter Dual VVT-i (Dual variable valve timing system), 164 horsepower at 5,200 rpm, maximum torque of 245 Nm at 4,000 rpm. 6-speed automatic transmission, 2-wheel drive.

The car model imported to Vietnam comes with safety equipment such as electronic balance, cruise control, rear parking sensors, tire pressure warning, child impact mitigation system, anti-theft and many other functions.

According to the importer in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, the 2017 Toyota Fortuner exported to the Middle East costs more than 2 billion VND, and is available in limited quantities. Domestic consumers are currently quite fond of SUV models exported to the Middle East such as Toyota's Land Cruiser and Prado.

Fortuner is an important product of the Japanese car company in Southeast Asia and some other markets. Despite frequent complaints about safety and driving experience, Fortuner still leads compared to its competitors.

In Vietnam, the new generation Fortuner was first launched in October 2016 but the price was not announced until early 2017, from 981 million to 1.308 billion VND. The car competes with rivals such as Ford Everest, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Hyundai Santa Fe./.
