Smoke and flames engulfed the border market in Lang Son.

Flames accompanied by columns of black smoke rising tens of meters high destroyed many stalls at Tan Thanh border market (Lang Son).

At approximately 7:30 AM on July 10th, a fierce fire broke out in the Huu Nghi market area, Tan Thanh border gate, Van Lang district (Lang Son province).

At the scene, flames and thick black smoke engulfed the entire market. Many vendors hurriedly moved their goods outside and tried to put out the fire, but without success.

By 9 a.m., the fire was still not under control.The head of the Tan Thanh police station said authorities had mobilized 300 people from the local armed forces.to assist in firefighting.
