Body of missing man found on 7-storey waterfall in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) – At 8am on June 24, search forces discovered the body of a missing man at the 7-storey waterfall.

The body was found about 200 meters from the original location. Hanh Dich Commune Police said the victim was born in 1976 and resided in Chau Binh Commune, Quy Chau District.

At noon on June 23, this person and some friends invited each other to go to the 7-story waterfall to relax. While sightseeing at the top of the waterfall, the victim slipped, fell down the waterfall and died.

Immediately after the incident, the People's Committee of Que Phong district directed the commune to mobilize more than 100 people to join the search for the victims. Due to heavy rain, the water level at the 7-storey waterfall rose, causing many difficulties for the search team.

The victim's body has been handed over to his family for burial according to local customs.
