Students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted won silver medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad
(Baonghean.vn) - This is the good news that has just been confirmed by teacher Ngo Sy Thuy - Principal of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. That student is Hoang Nghia Tuyen, a student of class 12A4, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
The 49th International Chemistry Olympiad 2017 was held in the Kingdom of Thailand with the participation of 297 contestants from 76 countries and territories.

At this competition, student Hoang Nghia Tuyen and 3 other Vietnamese students excellently won 4 medals, including 3 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal.
According to teacher Ngo Sy Thuy: Hoang Nghia Tuyen's Silver Medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad is the school's desire for nearly 20 years. This achievement once again adds to the achievements of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted and enriches the tradition of studiousness of students in the province.
With this achievement, Vietnam and China ranked 2nd overall (after the US team) and is also the highest achievement of the Chemistry team ever. It is expected that the team will return to Vietnam tomorrow evening and by the evening of July 16 (Sunday) the team will return to Vinh City.
