Wide open opportunities for candidates

This is the third year that Nghe An University of Economics has conducted admissions using two methods: admissions based on academic records and admissions based on the results of the National High School Exam. With 1,700 quotas, students enrolling in Nghe An University of Economics this year have the opportunity to enroll in 7 undergraduate majors, namely Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Land Management, Crop Science, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine. In addition, students can also enroll in college programs with similar majors.

In particular, while in previous years, the school often gave priority to candidates based on the results of the National High School Exam, this year 70% of the university quota and 100% of the college quota will be reserved for admission to the school based on academic records. The school is also very "flexible" in the admission process when offering many different combinations such as Math - Physics - Chemistry, Math - Physics - English, Math - Literature - English, Math - Chemistry - Biology with the admission score often only equal to the floor score according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Admission is based on high school academic results based on scores recorded in the transcript of 3 subjects in 1 of the admission groups (A00: Math, Physics, Chemistry; A01: Math, Physics, English; B00: Math, Chemistry, Biology; D01: Math, Literature, English). To be admitted, candidates must have a grade 12 total score of 3 subjects in 1 of the admission groups of 18 points or higher. The school also expands enrollment nationwide and does not limit age. In addition, priority candidates will have priority points added according to the score they receive to the total score for admission.

Based on this year's enrollment target, it also shows that accounting is the major with the most admission opportunities with 800 targets. The Faculty of Accounting - Analysis is also a large-scale specialized faculty of Nghe An University of Economics.

In recent times, although it has just been separated from the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Analytical Accounting has had many breakthrough activities to improve the quality of teaching and training of the school and meet the needs of highly skilled labor of enterprises. Majors such as Land Management, Plant Science and Forestry, although not taking too many quotas, are majors with many good opportunities for students after graduation with many orders from prestigious units in the agricultural sector nationwide.

Currently, Nghe An University of Economics is collecting applications for the first round of admission to the school and will continue to enroll students for the following rounds of admission this year. Candidates who do not have a high school diploma will submit a temporary high school graduation certificate (notarized copy) before August 1, 2017.
