(Baonghean.vn) - At the propaganda work meeting, many opinions suggested that the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department continue to orient propaganda, fight against and counter wrong views.

On June 30, in Anh Son district, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to review the propaganda work in the first 6 months of 2017 in the districts of Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky, Do Luong, Con Cuong, Ky Son, and Tuong Duong. Comrades: Kha Van Tam - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Dang Thanh Tung - Secretary of Anh Son District Party Committee, chaired the conference.

The conference listened to the units in the cluster report summarizing the propaganda work in the first 6 months of the year; new models, good practices in the units; recommendations and proposals on difficulties and problems in propaganda work for timely discussion and resolution.

Assessing the performance of the first 6 months of 2017, comrade Kha Van Tam - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department highly appreciated the Propaganda Departments of the districts in the cluster for their efforts to complete the set targets and tasks; had many innovations, contributing significantly to the implementation of Party building work in general and Propaganda work in particular.

At the conference, representatives of the Propaganda Departments of the districts in the cluster raised a number of opinions and recommendations for the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to continue to orient propaganda, fight against and counter wrong views; soon have propaganda documents or organize extraordinary conferences to provide specialized information on prominent issues of special public interest so that localities can disseminate and thoroughly understand them...

Concluding the conference, comrade Kha Van Tam directed the Propaganda Departments of the districts in the coming time to continue to improve the quality of dissemination and study of the Party's Directives and Resolutions; carry out propaganda work well, grasp public opinion; fight against the distortions of the truth by hostile forces; effectively use internal information of the province and district newsletters; proactively and promptly handle issues raised by newspapers; continue to promote the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW and Directive 17-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. The Propaganda Departments of the districts need to closely follow the local and the Department's programs and plans to effectively carry out their tasks.
