Quy Hop: Replaced nearly 600 flower vases on martyrs' graves
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 24, nearly 500 people including the district military command, the town militia and self-defense force and the Quy Hop District Youth Union came to offer incense and take care of the district's martyrs' cemetery to commemorate the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017).
Here, the district military command staff, the town militia and the Youth Union members of Quy Hop district collected and cleared the grass around the cemetery, cleaned, cared for and removed old incense sticks. On this occasion, Viettel Quy Hop branch supported to replace flower vases and flowers for 585 graves of heroic martyrs at the district martyrs cemetery.

This is an activity to show gratitude to the heroic martyrs, the country's outstanding children who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; thereby reminding the younger generation to always strive to study and work to repay the merits of their ancestors who sacrificed their blood and bones for national independence. At the same time, educating the tradition of patriotism, remembering the source of water for every citizen and youth union member in the district.

On this occasion, Quy Hop district organized 4 delegations to visit and present gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers and outstanding policy families in the district and organized a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day at the district cemetery; directed sectors, organizations, communes and towns to carry out well the gratitude activities in localities and units, striving for 100% of policy families to receive gifts; repaired martyrs' cemeteries and organized candle lighting activities, activities to return to the source, and many other activities to commemorate and show gratitude to the heroic martyrs who did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
