Hoa Binh Town (Tuong Duong) gives charity houses to the poor

(Baonghean.vn) - On June 26, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh town (Tuong Duong) held the inauguration ceremony and handed over a gratitude house to Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, in Hoa Nam block, Hoa Binh town.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen (69 years old) currently lives alone, her husband passed away 6 years ago, she has 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl, her children are all in difficult circumstances and have to work far away, she is often sick. For a long time now she has had to live in a damaged, seriously degraded house, not ensuring safety.

Understanding her situation, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh town mobilized collectives, individuals, and businesses in the area to donate to the construction. After more than 1 month of construction, the solid level 4 house, 2 rooms with an area of ​​40m², corrugated iron roof, cement floor completed. The total value of the house is 90 million VND.

“I never thought I would be able to live in such a spacious new house in my last years. I am so happy,” said Nguyen Thi Yen emotionally.
