Salary increase 7.44% for eight groups from July 1

The Government has just issued a decree adjusting pensions, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances for 8 groups of people from July 1.

Accordingly, from July 1, 2017, a 7.44% increase in salary, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances will be applied to eight groups of subjects including:

Cadres, civil servants, workers, public employees and laborers, soldiers, police officers and people doing key work who are receiving monthly pensions.

Commune, ward and town officials are receiving monthly pensions and allowances.

People receiving monthly disability benefits according to the law; rubber workers receiving monthly benefits.

Commune, ward and town officials are receiving monthly allowances according to Decision 130/CP dated June 20, 1975 of the Government Council and Decision 111-HDBT dated October 13, 1981 of the Council of Ministers.

Military personnel are receiving monthly allowances according to Decision 142/2008/QD-TTg dated October 27, 2008, Decision 38/2010/QD-TTg dated May 6, 2010 of the Prime Minister.

People's Public Security is receiving monthly allowance according to Decision 53/2010/QD-TTg dated August 20, 2010 of the Prime Minister.

Military personnel, people's police, and people working in secretarial work receive salaries similar to those of military personnel and people's police who are receiving monthly allowances according to Decision 62/2011/QD-TTg dated November 9, 2011 of the Prime Minister.

People receiving monthly occupational accident and disease benefits.

The Decree takes effect from August 15, 2017.
