According to the investigation of the police agency, Vinh (born in 1981, residing in hamlet 10, Nghia Dong commune) and Dien (born in 1989, residing in block 8, Tan Ky town) are 2 subjects who have recently been regularly buying and selling drugs in the area to long-term addicts who do not have stable jobs.

They often organize drug trading and use right at home or choose deserted locations, far from residential areas, outside the area to trade, making it difficult for the police to monitor and investigate.

To arrest these two subjects, Tan Ky District Police established a special project coded 517M, secretly monitoring the movements and activities of the subjects.

However, both subjects were very cunning and reckless. To deal with the authorities, Dien also went from Do Luong district to Lat town, Tan Ky district to rent a room with the purpose of using this place as the main location to sell drugs to addicts. Dien raised a German Shepherd to guard the house and installed a camera in front of the room gate to easily observe strangers coming and going.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 1, 2017, Tan Ky District Police issued an arrest warrant and urgently searched Ha Van Vinh; confiscated 0.3 grams of crystal meth from his person. Another task force arrested and urgently searched Nguyen Van Dien at his residence, confiscating 5 grams of synthetic drugs.

Currently, the Tan Ky District Police Investigation Agency has initiated a case and prosecuted Vinh and Dien for illegal drug trafficking./.
