Beautiful road in Vinh is dirty after the storm

(Baonghean.vn)- Namyangju Dasan Street (Vinh City, Nghe An) has just been put into use. It is a beautiful street in Vinh city but is becoming shabby with many garbage dumps and uprooted trees.

In March 2017, Dasan Street was turned into one of the beautiful streets in Vinh City with its characteristic straight rows of Lagerstroemia trees, clean and airy sidewalks and is one of the symbols of the connection between the two cities of Vinh and Namyangju (Korea).

However, since storm number 2, this road suddenly became shabby.

According to the reporter's records, currently, on this road there are many construction waste dumps, soil, rocks, and rubble. Surprisingly, the location of these two waste dumps is less than 100 meters from the People's Committee of Quan Bau Ward, but they still openly exist, causing disgust and loss of urban beauty. According to the people's reflection, the above construction waste was brought by a nearby road construction unit to Namyangju Dasan Street and dumped haphazardly.

In addition, there are currently dozens of Lagerstroemia trees on both sides of Namyangju Dasan Road that are crooked and falling down. Many trees have even grown roots up in the sun and withered, but no unit has yet fixed or replanted them.

People living nearby said that most of the newly planted trees did not have support poles, so storm number 2 caused many trees to tilt and fall. After the storm, someone came to support the trees and replant them. However, due to the continued impact of storm number 4, many trees fell and were uprooted...

It is known that the Namyangju Dasan Road project is invested by Vinh City People's Committee, the roadway is 9 m wide, the sidewalk on each side is 4.5 m wide, the starting point connects with Le Ninh Street, the end point connects with Mai Hac De Street. The project has a total investment of over 47.7 billion VND, of which the construction value is nearly 20 billion VND, sponsored by Namyangju City, Korea.
